Julia was actually my mom's dog. We always had dogs and cats growing up, but living on a farm, things happen.....and we never had inside pets. After all the kids had grown up and moved out, Mom got a little dog. She was so cute, she would sit on Mom's lap at night while Mom petted her and she and dad watched TV, and Mom comically wondered, "Did I ever do this with my kids?" Mom drove around in a big white Lincoln Town Car with Julia on her lap looking out the window. It was nice for Mom to have a little friend around, someone to take care of (besides Dad). One Christmas morning, Julia went out for a few minutes to take care of business, and never returned. Oh how we searched and searched. Julia was such a sweet little companion for Mom, and she refused to get another dog after Julia. We miss you Julia.
Our beloved Julia
