Return Policy for Custom Pet Obituary Writing Services (14 Days)

We offer a 14‑day return policy for our custom writing services. This means you have 14 days after placing your order to request a return, as long as work on your obituary has not yet begun.

Because each obituary is a personalized, made‑to‑order written tribute, once we start writing or have delivered any portion of the work, the service becomes non‑refundable.

✅ Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return if:

• Your order was placed within the last 14 days, and

• We have not yet begun writing or creating your custom obituary, and

• You can provide your receipt or proof of purchase.

Once writing has started — including research, drafting, or sending you a preview — the service is considered “in progress” and is no longer eligible for a refund.

All return requests must be approved before a refund can be issued.

✅ Revisions, Damages, and Issues

If you receive your custom obituary and something is incorrect, incomplete, or not what you expected, please contact us right away. We are committed to making things right through revisions, corrections, or clarifications.

Technical issues (such as email delivery problems) will also be resolved promptly.

✅ Exceptions / Non‑Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

• Custom or personalized obituaries once writing has begun

• Completed or delivered obituary files

• Sale items or gift cards

If you’re unsure whether your order qualifies, please reach out.

✅ Exchanges

Because this is a custom writing service, exchanges are handled through revisions rather than product swaps. If you need changes, we’re happy to revise your obituary to better reflect your pet’s story.

✅ European Union 14‑Day Cooling‑Off Period

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days for any reason. However, this right does not apply once we have begun writing your custom obituary. If no work has started, you may request a return within the 14‑day window with proof of purchase.

✅ Refunds

Once your return request is reviewed, we’ll notify you of approval or denial. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
